Okay its not THE Pond - as some call the ocean. And it is not just A Pond - as in smaller than a lake. It is a lake! I enjoy living on it and spending time on my back porch listening to music, gazing at the lake and pondering.

$700,000,000,000

Wow. Is that right? I can't get my brain around that many zeros. And I don't think most of the Bozos in Washington can either.

The bailout is not sitting well with me. I am watching news reports of the stand off going on up in the nation's capitol. Some of these guys want to give some help to Americans who have had their home foreclosed? Wait! Before you do that let me default on my mortgage so you can pay some or all of it off for me! Now, how stupid is this? If you can't make the payments on something should you be able to keep it?

My patience is running thin and I think I am not alone. Perhaps the whole country has gone crazy. I urge you to go buy some real estate you cannot afford and then contact your congressman or senator to help you buy it.

Now, what I really want is an investigation into the Franks, Dodds, and Obamas of the congress who allowed FANNIE and FREDDIE to give out all the bad loans!

Are they really planning to let defaulters keep their houses? I have been avoiding most of the news. This country is now full of people that think everyone deserves to have everything...on a silver platter as well. It's leading to our downfall.

Wonderful post brother.
I hope that and pray that believers will continue to give and put God first during this difficult time.
It is important that we remember that God takes care of our "needs". As Scripture says, "I have never see the rightous forsaken or begging for bread." God love and will take care of our needs. Again, wonderful post. Keep up the great work you do with this blog. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
