Our temperature got into the 70's on the day after Christmas! I wore my heavy coat to work yesterday and when I came out of the office it felt like spring! The pavement was sweating after being so cold over the past week and then being so warm yesterday.
Being the ponderer that I am, I began to speculate what could be causing this. It did not take long to come to the conclusion and that is what this blog is about. We try to teach Maverick to be honest and forthright in his interaction with all people. And so I should too.
The warm up in late December is Maverick's fault. Well, and his mom's and dad's and is paternal grandparents, and aunts and uncles and, okay, Debbie's too.
Christmas brought Maverick electronic toys of all kinds. I figure the heat generated from all these toys is the source of this global warm up. The heater in the house has not ran since Christmas morning. I may not have to buy propane for weeks. However, I have been watching Maverick playing all these new electronics. I determined I will have to buy 100's of AA and AAA batteries a month over the next year or two.
I see lightening moving in over the pond this morning and we are under a tornado watch until 10:00 this morning. Seems the cold is trying to make its way back to Oklahoma.
I am going to go wake up Maverick. Debbie needs in the safe room and I need him to start playing with his toys again so we can push this cold back off.

haha ..... one thing about the weather here in the plains states. If you don't like the weather, just wait a minute, it'll change.
He must be playing with them again...60 today, and forcast 70s tomorrow. I love Oklahoma.
